...Like A Rolling Stone...

As all who consider StoneCraft are aware, we choose the finest local stone that is pre-selected by operative stonemasons.  Unless otherwise requested by our customers, StoneCraft procures hand-selected stone that is indigenous to the area we are working in.  This allows for maximum blending to the surrounding landscapes, a choice infrequently made by other masonry outfits who are commonly incapable of aquiring such materials and those who simply do not want to offer such a labor intensive effort.

By locating, purchasing and pre-screening local materials, StoneCraft is able to price and produce your project for a considerably lower savings than that of whom you may consider competition...And in terms of 'competition', ask all potential contractors for references.  Stonemasonry work should last forever, so as a result other contractors should have a long list of previous clients who are proud of their finished works.  If they do not, one should likely consider alternatives.

At StoneCraft, we have over 3700 clients, as of a July 2013 poll.  We have projects throughout the area; whether interior or exterior work, commercial or residential, dry-laid or product supported, and with various types of real stone.  We do not use, and refuse to consider using man-made and faux stone.  Why would you?

Imitation stone is just that, as are those who install it.  Our selection of choice is real, earthen stone.  We have worked with most all of them, as well as stone from most areas that offer transportation here.  Our primary offering is local stone, as we feel it is bestly suited for the surrounding landscapes and offers other benefits such as lower pricing.  The stone native to this region of the United States also is far more attractive to other stone selection out there, at least in our opinion.  While your landscapers and others offer Pennsylvania fieldstone as their main material, we ask WHY..even though we know the answer.  The answer is that it is the only material they have experience or ability with, and the only one supplied by the local material supply or major-chain home material supply.

STONE SUPPLY - NOBLE ROMAN ENTERPRISES

We offer a large variety of hand-selected material for our customers!  We offer our customers the best, hand-selected pieces for each and every project we create...but did you know that we now offer materials to the general public and supply many of the area garden shops, lumber yards, stone yards and public retail merchants?

WE HAVE CONTINUED OUR HUNT FOR NATURAL STONE AND NOW MAKE OUR FINDING AVAILABLE TO ALL CUSTOMERS SUPPLIERS, BUILDERS and HOMEOWNERS!

For more than two decades, StoneCraft has prided itself on providing stonemasonry projects built with the finest, stonemason-selected, indigenous materials we could find.  In conjunction with Noble Roman Enterprises, we now offer the same selection to our stonemasonry customers, but also to local merchants and other builders!

We have materials coming in from various areas throughout the Rhode Island area, as well as incoming selections from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Colorado, New York, New Hampshire and more!  Our bluestone selection is first hand-selected in Meshoppen, PA and also in Middletown, RI, then brought to our South County yard where it is then precision-cut and palletized.  Unlike others, we offer Bluestone panels and stair-treads in both nominal and actual measurments.

Precision Cuts...

Stone preparation is a large factor in precision stonework.  More times than not, bluestone and other flagging materials that are sold through most garden/masonry supply center offer lesser-grade materials, leaving many stonemasons and masons alike to need more preparation time at the jobsite.  What is worse, many area installers do not take this time to prepare the material, and instead let the pieces 'fall as they may'.  This failure on their part causes many patios to be off in the overall measurements and causes irregular, inconsistent grout joints.

At our facility in South County, we apply more effort to providing materials to our clients with finely-cut pieces.  Additionally, we offer options for palletizing the materials that can help reduce complications when accounting for pieces necessary to complete simple patios such as our pre-arranged patio pallets.  These pallets, which are available in a variety of sizes, are arranged to procure square and rectangular patios in 10'x10', 12'x12', and 12'x18' formats.  We can also arrange patterns and pre-packaged pallets for custom orders, per request.  What's better?...there is no additional cost!

Our gang-saw and bridge-saw cutting process is also used for custom works.  With less than a two-week turn-a-round time, STONECRAFT can produce for you, customized pieces for your project!

We offer Thermal Facing, Radial Cuts and other refinery work per order!

Our Dedication To The Craft!

We take great pride in building beautiful works that last the ages.  Earthen-made stone is eternal and we work very hard to take the steps necessary to complete our projects in a such a way that they may also be eternal.  We now have works in the Rhode Island area that are over 28 years old!  We implore you to have a look at them and see for yourself!

SEND US YOUR PHOTOS!

The staff at StoneCraft would love to see them!  Truth is, we are in motion year-round and don't always get the best photos of our works after completion.  We encourage our clients to follow-up by sending us their photos of our works!

Searching for something in particular?  If you don't see it here, contact us and we can forward some photos or addresses of a similar project to see in person!
